Remodel ~ Diamond engagement ring

Each piece I create or remodel tells a story — not just of design, but of life and love. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Alex, who wanted to mark her wedding anniversary by transforming her traditional diamond solitaire into something bolder, reflecting who she is today.

The original ring was simple yet sentimental: a 4mm diamond set in 18ct gold. For this remodel, Alex wanted a contemporary statement. She also chose to incorporate her husband’s wedding band, giving new life to a piece he no longer wears, and weaving their shared journey into the design.

Together, we developed a concept that fused Art Deco inspiration with a modern, geometric twist, resulting in a signet-style ring with clean lines, bold structure, and a nod to classic elegance. The original diamond took centre stage, framed by the newly reworked gold. Every element was carefully considered, ensuring the ring felt both personal and striking — a piece that tells her story without needing words.

For Alex, this wasn’t just a ring; it was a celebration of love, individuality, and transformation. The remodel honours the past while embracing the present, creating a piece that is uniquely hers.
