Bespoke Commission ~ 17ct Aquamarine & Gold Statement Ring

It's quite the moment when a client brings you a 17 carat Aquamarine stone and asks you to make a statement ring with it. The design needed to be substantial enough to support the stone but still have a sense of movement and lightness. I achieved this with open looped prongs and multiple bands that came together to make up the structure of the ring. These multiple bands introduced a fluid and tactile quality.
