Remodel - Emerald & Diamond ring

This ring was a lovely combination of sentimental gold and diamonds but with the addition of a new emerald, my client's birthstone. The ring was to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary and needed to sit cleanly with her existing engagement ring, wedding & eternity ring.
As her engagement ring was a princess diamond we leaned into geometric shapes. I designed a consciously asymmetric ring with the sentimental diamonds all stepping down from the new centre stone on one side. It gave the design a unique twist but also allowed us to stack this new ring cleanly next to her existing rings. The basket for the emerald was intentionally left open at the bottom to ensure the settings didn't rub.
We ended up with an elegant but modern ring with it's own personality.
We both loved how it turned out and I love how unexpected the desig is on it's own, but how well it works with the rest of the rings.
